Talks on Feng Shui with Dr. Hsu
11: Everyone has Psychic Powers
In our previous article (No. 10), we discussed the interrelationship between Chi and form. We didn’t just talk about three dimensional objects: we also discussed two-dimensional images, such as circles, squares and triangles. This is because even two-dimensional images are forms, and those forms also contain Chi energy and information.
The logo of a company is a form. A successful company will therefore have a logo that embodies success.
Similarly, in political elections, the emblems of the candidates or parties also have a form, and thus also have energy and information.
I remember that the first time I went to Venezuela to lecture, in 1998, there was a presidential election under way. One of my students, a seasoned diplomat, named Frank, had also been ambassador to India. He asked me which candidate would be elected. That was the first time I’d been to Venezuela. I knew nothing about local politics, not to mention the candidates. He insisted, however, that I must be able to predict the election outcome.
I asked him to give me something to look at. He gave me the logos of the two candidates (see below).
The images I saw were a broken moon verses a rising sun. I instantly realized that the one with the rising sun would be elected. This is because the logo form with the image of the rising sun is more wholesome than the logo form with the broken moon – and indeed Hugo Chavez became president.
In 2007, I gave lectures for the EMBA program at Qinghua University and People’s University in China. I presented two sets of logos from presidential elections to the students. More than eighty percent of the students were able to pick the winning candidate from the two political logos. So I told them, “Hey, you see, you all have psychic powers.”
The other set of logos, below, was from the Mexican presidential elections. Try to guess which one was successful.
You’re right! It was the PAN. See? You all have psychic powers.
In reality, there is nothing secret or hidden in the universe. It’s just that we have to know how to tap into the source of information. We are all born with that intuitive ability.
Unfortunately, we have been educated to believe that only what we can see and touch is real – even though matter, Chi and information exist together. Although they manifest together, they do not manifest at the same time.
In general, children have better intuitive ability – but adults often disregard it, call it nonsense, or say the child is day-dreaming.
It’s true that some people are more intuitive than others. But intuition is something that everyone can cultivate.
